Peter Levine, SRA, BA, PTA, AAS
Peter G Levine is co-director of the Neuromotor Recovery and Rehabilitation Laboratory, under the auspices of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Cincinnati Academic Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. Levine is author of the book Stronger After Stroke (strongerafterstroke.com) and has co-authored articles published in every major peer-reviewed journal that deals with stroke recovery in the United States. He has also has authored articles in national magazines including the National Stroke Association’s magazine, StrokeSmart and writes a monthly column on stroke recovery in Advance for Physical Therapists. He conducts workshops throughout the U.S. for Education Resources Inc. (www.educationresourcesinc.com) in the area of stroke rehabilitation and neuroplasticity.
Before coming to the University of
Cincinnati , Mr. Levine was a Research Associate in the Human Performance &
Motion Analysis Laboratory at Kessler Rehabilitation Research and Education
Corporation, the research arm of the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.
Levine resides in Wyoming , Ohio , with his wife, Aila Mella (a physical
therapist) and their two children.
